Love and Gratitude

People are drawn to mystical experiences. And they established religion. To me faith and religion relies on people's desires. But the outcomes are not measurable and it does not speak to aspects of real world. So, religions are not worth respect. Rationality on the other hand made sense, but people find an emotional disconnect with it. Recent readings and musings are bringing to light this other aspect that is turning out to be a great life enhancer. Positive emotions like love and gratitude. I never thought much of it except as nice feeling to have. but, scientific findings have been coming in with the benefits of these positive emotions. Woke up feeling unhappy about some thing or life in general? Try gratitude - matter and energy can form infinite kinds of patterns and structures, but I happened to be a speck of the universe that is self aware and able to experience other aspects of the universe. And some are even beautiful like a cuddle with my dog or the bright blue sky, the sight of people that make me happy. All this could have not happened and yet it did. Not because some intelligence designed it for you. But because you happened by random chance and your senses have the ability to enjoy awareness. This ability enhances your experience of life. Now negative emotions are equally easy to have such as being discontent with some aspect of life and suffering it. The key is then to generate positive emotions so you enhance your experiences. I was so glad to find that science is coming to this conclusion as well. It had to, because we know that is how life in real world works. And so, it is observable, measurable and testable. Science has debunked a lot that religions have spoken about the natural worlds. And now we don't go to religion to get answers to questions of thing pertaining to te material world. Science has also done well with subjects of emotion. It will also dominate the spiritual thoughts, it is already well on it's way. So far religion has been evacuating out of all domains that science have come to speak about. Spirituality is still religions strong hold. But science is getting there too. May be humanity will shed religion and start a thought revolution based on rationality.
